Emerging from the hell that is the NYC subway during this current heatwave I encountered a group of "activists" handing out these buttons and signing people up to "protect Vampire rights" at Columbus Circle.
At first I thought it was just a group of eccentrics (or maybe students of an improv class) but after going to the site - conspicuously sponsored by HBO - I realized it was just a marketing ploy. Guess there's a new series or something coming up. I dunno. Still don't have cable. It was funnier and far more interesting before I knew HBO was involved but alas such is life. Full of disappointments. And sly marketing.

Uh, nah, dude. It's on the button.
Interesting I may need to do something similar for my marketing campaigns. Even though it is sly, haha!
I think that they have an energy drink that goes with it as well... I wish that I had saved the site.
Here's to thinking outside the box, and a new wave of folks wearing garlic... Just in case.
